Slow living
The season between plans
A short reflection for changing English evenings.
Notice your surroundings
An English autumn evening and a summer morning offer different light, weather and possibilities. Start with your actual surroundings rather than an idealised seasonal routine.
Keep, change, release
Make three headings in your notebook. Under each, add one habit or commitment. Be specific: a shorter evening to-do list is easier to try than a promise to become a different person.
Make a small ritual
A cup of tea beside an open notebook or a familiar walk can mark a transition. No purchase, special object or precise celestial timing is required.

Revisit the notes after a week. Which change made a practical difference? What needs adjusting? Your lived experience is a better guide than a prediction.
